Why I'm Walking

Last summer, Simon (then age 5) was formally diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He struggles in social contexts and unfamiliar situations, which often trigger meltdowns. Our family has benefitted from some Autism NS programming (Autism Aviators in particular was very helpful before Simon's first plane ride last fall), and hope to access more in the future (swim lessons, camps, Autism Arts). We are walking to raise funds so these programs can continue and expand, and more families can access the support Autism NS offers. Any donation is deeply appreciated. THANK YOU!
