Welcome to Walk YOUR Way for Autism Nova Scotia Strait Area Chapter on behalf of Justine Carter representing Ophelia’s Octo Agents (Ophelia Stone's family & friends)!

Walk YOUR Way is an opportunity for autistic individuals, families, friends and caregiver networks to gather as a community and support the 14,000+ individuals on the Autism Spectrum across Nova Scotia. Funds raised help individuals find gainful employment, learn crucial life skills, build support networks, and so much more. With Walk events taking place across Nova Scotia, all funds raised stay in the community in which they are raised. This means our involvement with Ophelia’s Octo Agents with Walk YOUR Way will make a meaningful difference in our own communities located in the Strait Area!

This year the Walk YOUR Way for Autism will be held on Saturday, June 8th/2024. This event will take place at the Mulgrave Memorial Centre gymnasium and outdoor field from 1pm-3pm.

We will be participating in our local walk and collecting donations for Autism Nova Scotia. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and even sharing our page would be a great help. Anyone wishing to walk in person is welcome to join us but we understand life is busy so feel free to go walking in your own community and let everyone know that we are all in this TOGETHER to support a great cause.
