Why I'm Walking

In September my family and I will participate in our first Walk for Autism. As a member of the Autism Nova Scotia team, I have seen the incredible work our organization does to support individuals on the spectrum and their families across the province. From delivering first-in-class programming to engaging in critical advocacy work to make our community more inclusive for everyone, Autism Nova Scotia makes a real difference in the lives of so many - and has continued to do so in spite of the challenges Covid-19 has created.
The 2020 Walk will certainly be different than previous years, but during this time of social distancing and isolation, Autism Nova Scotia and our community needs our support more than ever.
